Job Summary:

Reporting to the Site Manager / Director of Care, the Facility Support Manager (Supports) provides hands-on and day-to-day leadership for the Housekeepers, Hairdressers and Wait Staff (Diet Aides) staff.

Qualifications:

  • Academic Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A recognized Environmental Services Course.
  • Management or Supervisor Training Course.
  • Experience managing or supervising Food Services staff an asset
  • Three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS legislation.
  • Knowledge of institutional housekeeping and food service equipment and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills.  Ability to interact effectively with residents and staff.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a team player.

Salary Range: We offer a comprehensive compensation package including: a pension plan, attractive health benefits plan, and a competitive salary.

Rotation: The regular hours of work for this position are intended to be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Given the scope and responsibility of the role, on-call availability/flexibility is also a requirement.
