What a great week for Ocean View to celebrate!
First, we launched our “Bike Around” project, a 1st in Atlantic Canada, that will enhance our quality care for residents living in long term care. This innovative project will build upon the existing programs and services that provide the highest quality care already in place at Ocean View.
Secondly, our visit from Accreditation Canada has concluded this week and we are pleased that based on our preliminary onsite report we met over 99.5% of the 534 standards that were assessed by our Surveyors! We look forward to our formal confirmation from Accreditation Canada in the next couple of weeks which will accompany our certificate. This is commendable and was made possible through a large group of staff and dedicated volunteers who work in a passionate manner every day for Ocean View.
On a final note, we are thankful for those who trust us with their care in both our long term care home or in their own homes in the community. It’s a privilege to serve you and we hope this is a testament to the quality of care you receive from us.
