The Color Purple Series: Purple is Black Blooming – FREE

A discussion about author Alice Walker and the history of her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Color Purple.

Featuring CBC radio Information Morning host Portia Clark, Halifax journalist Evelyn C. White, author of Alice Walker, and local singer Keonte Beals whose stirring cover version of “I’m Still Here,” from the Broadway musical The Color Purple, helped to launch his award-winning musical career.
