August 17, 2018 from 1:30pm to 4:15pm
Evergreen House
26 NEWCASTLE STREET
Dartmouth
Afternoon Tea at Evergreen is back for summer 2018! Until August 31, guests will enjoy a classic Victorian pastime at the majestic and historic Dartmouth landmark, Evergreen House.
Did you know that the Dartmouth Heritage Museum has over 250 dolls in our Collection?! If you want to learn more about the history of dolls and doll collecting then this Tea on August 17 is for you! It will feature a presentation from the Mayflower Doll Club, a local group interest in all matters pertaining to dolls and doll collecting. The theme of this presentation is Canadian dolls and will feature some of their personal collections. At this Tea, we want to see your dolls! We encourage children (young and old) to bring your favourite doll (in their best outfit) to join you for tea!
The menu for Afternoon Tea includes freshly baked cookies, scones and, of course, piping hot tea. There are two sittings: 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm. Space is limited for each sitting so reservations are recommended.
Tickets include admission to Evergreen House and a complimentary guided tour. As a special two-for-one offer this summer, tickets to this event also include admission to Quaker House, the oldest standing building in Dartmouth, redeemable within a week of purchase.
The event organizer is providing tickets for this event via an external ticket provider. Please visit website –
