  1. Enrollment in a relevant, post-secondary program such as; Marketing, Communications,
    Public Relations, Business, Journalism.
  2. Possess the following characteristics and skills; strong interpersonal skills, including active
    listening and empathy, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent
    organizational and planning skills, digital design, creative problem-solving and good
    assessment skills.
  3. Ability to use social & digital media to effectively communicate or respond to others.
  4. Previous experience with the elderly preferred.
  5. Knowledgeable in Microsoft products (word, excel, publishe

Job Scope:
Under the guidance of the Director of Community Relations, provide and/or assist with internal
and external communications, support foundation fun development activities, and administrative
duties.

Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with other departments to assist with content and creation of the staff newsletter
  2. Support implementation of all internal and external communications/ PR plans
  3. Support internal communications for Summer Accreditation
  4. Monitor and maintain all social media platforms
  5. Participant in internal staff committees (diversity and morale and engagement)
  6. Fund development
  7. Liaise with Volunteen Supervisor for cross promotional activities

Term: mid- May to August 31, 2022. Hourly wage: $15.50. Hours: 35 per week.
