Job Summary:

This In-Home Support Worker role will support clients living in nursing homes and clients living in the community to “live well”. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eighteen (18) years of age with demonstrated experience and relevant education.
  • Food safety training required (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working with seniors with varying levels of abilities.
  • Experience in maintaining a clean environment.
  • Able to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Current clean criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
  • Experience or training in this field (i.e. PSW, training in feeding, etc.) would be an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle an asset.
  • Ability to work shift work
