Position Available: Full Time (1.0) Temporary (18 Months)

Job Summary:
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Policy Coordinator will be responsible to work within the team to fulfill the mandate to ensure all policy and procedure are updated, accurate, and reflective of best practise.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Mobilizing the review and updating of the 500+ policies and procedures in place for the enterprise
  • Developing and implementing audit tools as appropriate for policy and practice
  • Developing and implementing an education plan to ensure all staff are educated and aware of all policy and procedure

Candidates are required to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
  • A Master of Health Administration is preferred
  • Competency in various computer software applications
  • Access to a vehicle and ability to travel to various locations within the Halifax Region
