Facility Description:

Ocean View is a Registered Charitable organization and works closely in sharing of services with The Birches nursing home.  This position is primarily based at 133 Baker Drive but some travel in the local area will be required from time to time.

Job Summary:

Reporting jointly to the Director of Finance and the Senior Director Engagement and Accountability, the Finance Manager / Business Analytics Leader oversees several functions in the organization including payroll, benefits, and data quality. This includes leadership for staff and working as part of the broader healthcare team to utilize data to guide the best decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce
  • Payroll Certification is an asset
  • 3+ Years of previous experience working in payroll/benefits/finance and accounting
  • 3+ years experience in providing business analytics support
  • Knowledge of office (notably excel) for analysis
  • Experience with payroll software (ADP and SSC experience preferred)
  • Knowledge or familiar with various software systems used in healthcare.

Hours of Work: The regular hours of work for this position are intended to be 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Given the scope and responsibility of the role additional hours may be required at times of high volume.
