Job Summary:

Reporting to the Quality & Risk Manager, the Inter-RAI LTCF Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, delivery, data integrity, monitoring and evaluation of the Inter-RAI LTCF reporting system across sites as required in our shared services model. The Inter-RAI LTCF Coordinator ensures all facilities meet applicable standards and legislated acts related to data collection, assessments, and submissions to C.I.H.I., to ensure quality care for residents. The Inter-RAI LTCF Coordinator works collaboratively with other facility disciplines and external partners in the pursuit of our vision

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse/ LPN in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses, or eligible to obtain license
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Inter-RAI LTCF and NS Provincial LTC Program Standards
  • Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience providing assessments and interventions with adults and seniors.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate word processing applications in the completion of reports, training materials, and presentations
  • Demonstrated leadership, clinical reasoning, and creative problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Inter-RAI LTCF education
  • Project leadership and/or supervisory experience
  • Former Inter-RAI LTCF Coordinator role

Salary Range: Ocean View offers a competitive compensation package including a comprehensive benefits package

Rotation: Monday-Friday. With flexibility to work occasional evening and night if required.
