Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Care, the CCA Team Leader is responsible for leading CCA recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding, education, competency development, and performance management activities for all new hires to ensure that staff are successful in their work and help the organizations achieve strategic goals and objectives. The incumbent is accountable for the day-to-day leadership of CCA staff in collaboration with neighborhood managers and team leaders.  This includes the coordination of resident care, supervision and support of the care team, problem solving with residents and families.  The incumbent will be required to work evenings/weekends as needed to support the overall management of the long-term care homes. 

We are seeking to fill one (1) full time position, we require:

  • Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant is required
  • Nursing experience in a long-term care facility
  • Training / education in leadership, long term care, etc.
  • Current certification in CPR/First Aide
  • Education in dementia care is highly desirable
