Recreation & Spiritual Care

At Ocean View we strive to create a fulfilling and engaging daily life. Our activities promote emotional physical, cognitive, spiritual, and social well-being. Our Recreation and Spiritual Care Teams are here to help make each day meaningful and enjoyable. A wide variety of programs take place in our Community Room, throughout each neighbourhood, out in the local community, and even one-on-one for more personalized experiences. Some examples are:

• Cooking: Baking, Summer BBQ, Pizza lunches
• Games: Bingo, lexicon, card games, board games
• Arts & Crafts: Painting, drawing, knitting
• Music: Sing-alongs, concerts, musical performances
• Exercise: Chair exercises, walking groups, shuffleboard, bowling
• Social Events: Parties, holiday celebrations, teas, birthday parties, pub, movie nights
• Spiritual Activities: Hymn sing, church, pastoral care visits, bible study
• Outings: Trips to local attractions, restaurants, and community events.
