Responsible for the day-to-day management and effective delivery of quality physiotherapy services for residents with chronic, rehabilitative, and palliative health care needs. The PT provides direct care to a wide variety of adults using a problem-solving approach and in accordance with the standards, guidelines, and scope of physiotherapy to facilitate individualized resident care. Care provision is resident-centered, based on goals and outcomes that are determined in collaboration with the resident and team members He/she educates residents, families, and staff regarding interventions and advocates for residents with funding sources. The PT works collaboratively with other facility disciplines in the pursuit of our vision, “to be recognized for excellence in all that we do”.
