Job Summary:

As part of the leadership team at Ocean View, the Director Innovation and Accountability is responsible for the leadership for:

  1. Innovative projects and building capacity in the organization and community
  2. Sustaining current and future growth and support of the social enterprise, and
  3. Accountable for the day-to-day leadership of continuous quality improvement, including coordination of Licensing and Accreditation for two (2) long term care homes

Duties Include:

  • Leading and supporting the business plan for community / enterprise offerings
  • Leading integrated quality and risk management including applying the tools of CQI (root cause analysis, PDCA, FMEA, etc.) in all services and programs
  • Provides direct management of a variety of services/programs such as foot care, adult day, ride service, JRO EZ Rest product, loan equipment program, in home support services, agency contracts, and community partnerships

The successful candidate will be self-directed and work well within a team environment where excellence is the target. 

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Masters of Health Administration (MHA) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA).  Undergraduate degrees in these or other related areas may also be considered.
  • Background in marketing and communication is an asset
  • Background in caring for seniors in community and/or communal settings
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Current Driver’s License and access to a vehicle as travel to various sites is required
