As part of the Nursing Services portfolio, The Neighbourhood Manager (NE) reports to the Site Manager / Director of Care and is accountable for the organization, management and leadership of the nursing department. The NM provides leadership and direction to ensure the practice of all staff on the neighbourhoods(s) meets the required standards, and promotes safe, competent and ethical care to all residents at Ocean View.

Hours of Work: This is a non-union position; 80 hours bi-weekly. The regular hours of work are intended to be from 0800-1600, Monday through Friday. Given the scope and responsibility of the role, there may be occasions where the NM may be required to stay beyond this time period. On call availability/flexibility may also be required at times.
