Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Foreman is responsible for the functioning of all aspects of the grounds and physical structure and its equipment.

General Duties Include:

• Practices and carries out a preventive maintenance program
• Investigates the malfunctioning of equipment and deterioration of the building
• Records and schedules regular maintenance jobs
• Provides hands on support of the work in Maintenance

Qualifications:

• Community College graduate in a related field preferred, certified trade an asset
• Ability to review and comprehend building plans
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Working knowledge of applicable legislation
• Ability to implement building and fire codes
• Minimum three (3) years working in general maintenance, equipment and building system
• Three (3) years supervisory experience
• Must have access to reliable transportation during off hours for on-call

Salary Range: We offer a comprehensive compensation package including a pension plan, attractive health benefits plan and a competitive salary.

Schedule: The regular hours of work for this position are intended to be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Given the scope and responsibility of the role, on-call availability/flexibility is also a requirement.
